The location of this hotel is absolutely unbeatable. It is nestled in the heart of the mountains, as close to the slopes as I thought possible. The convenience of being able to easily access the skiing area was a major bonus for me and my family, especially with two young children.
All aspects of our stay were exceptional and there was nothing that could have been improved upon.

Beautifully designed chalet in Hirafu village, minutes to slopes. Great adjacent restaurant, the Barn. 2 Japanese ofuro onsite. Amazing staff, especially Peter Smith, who went above and beyond. Complimentary transportation to and from lifts. Perfect skiers home base. Delicious breakfast.

the staff was on top of everything and always made sure that we had everything we needed. We loved the play room and the dry room for our ski gear. the pick-up service to the ski lifts was an added plus.
The only thing that could have improved would be if there were more varieties of food served at breakfast.

The hotel had ski storage and a dry room which was helpful. The breakfast spread was quite nice and included warm porridge, bacon, eggs, and fruits. The hotel was located quite close to the ski resort and had a shuttle service to take us there whenever we wished. One of the best perks was that the hotel kindly brought us Christmas cake on the 25th.
Our room was a bit small compared to what we paid for. The room heating was very dry and made our skin itch.

We couldn't ask for a better location in this snow-covered mountain town. Right in the heart of everything, we are able to ski to the slopes in no time. Plus, all the restaurants and shops are within walking distance too. the room was nicely decorated and equipped with everything you might need, including a cozy bed and a lovely view from the windows. the staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with anything.
The rooms were a bit small, making it difficult to move around with much comfort.
